With Dojo’s Non-Stick Frying Pans, making a perfect fried egg is quick, easy, and mess-free. Whether for a simple breakfast, brunch, or as a topping for your favourite dish, mastering the art of the perfect fried egg is now within your reach. Follow these simple steps to cook a flawless fried egg every time!
1. Preheat Your Frying Pan
Begin by placing your Dojo Non-Stick Frying Pan over a low to medium heat. Thanks to the Neverstick surface, you can effortlessly cook without oil or butter, but adding a small amount can boost flavour and texture of the egg. Let the pan heat for about one minute. If your eggs are refrigerated, take them out 10 minutes before cooking to bring them to room temperature. Fresh eggs are ideal for frying, while older eggs are better suited for boiling.
2. Add Butter or Oil (Optional)
For extra flavour and crispy edges, melt a teaspoon of butter or drizzle a bit of oil into the pan. Swirl it around to evenly coat the surface.
3. Crack the Egg into the Frying Pan
Carefully crack the egg into the pan, ensuring the yolk remains intact. If you prefer a cleaner result, crack the egg into a small bowl first, then slide it gently into the pan.
4. Cook the Egg
Allow the egg to cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes. For a sunny-side-up egg, cook until the whites are fully set while keeping the yolk runny. For an over-easy egg, gently flip it with a spatula and cook for another 30 seconds.
5. Season and Serve
Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Carefully transfer the egg to your plate with a spatula, ensuring you don’t break the yolk.
